Information

Hidden in the Bydgoszcz Forest lies Exploseum – the DAG Fabrik Bromberg Center for Military Technology. This site is a unique global example of industrial architecture preserved almost unchanged since World War II. By exploring the network of tunnels connecting the former production buildings, you can learn about the dark history of the German explosives factory where the Third Reich armed itself. The multifaceted exhibition provides insights into the history of the DAG corporation, the people who worked there, the armaments produced, and the inventor of dynamite, Alfred Nobel. Exploseum has been included in the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH) as an anchor point and is also part of Bydgoszcz's Water, Industry, and Craft Trail (TeH₂O).
