The Modernity Center called “Mill of Knowledge”, located in the old Toruń Mills, is a real kingdom for little scientists. Mill of Knowledge consist of six floors, each with interesting installations, interactive exhibitions and unique exhibits enabling independent experiments. This is a place where you will see that learning can be a fascinating adventure. The center's showcase is the Foucault Pendulum, which allows you to observe the phenomenon of the Earth's rotation around its axis. It is 33 m long and its heart weighs 35 kg. At the center you can learn how important rotational motion is for life on our planet and learn about the phenomena related to it. You can see a model of the Vistula river bed, referring to the longest river in Poland flowing through Toruń, and you will experiment at stations located along its course. You can learn about physical phenomena that cause various illusions and optical effects. You can conduct experiments on your own and you will be able to test your creativity as much as you want. You will see an extremely interesting and unprecedented exhibition at the Center for Innovative Education. This is an exhibition about ourselves, about growing up, emotions, feelings, ways of making choices that affect adult life and how our interests are born. Of course, these are not all the attractions waiting for you at the Knowledge Mill. Come and see for yourself!
