Information

The Travelers' Museum is a place that will allow you to travel to the most remote corners of the globe. Your guides on this expedition will be a pair of outstanding travelers - Tony Halik and Elżbieta Dzikowska. It was their passion for traveling and the irresistible need to discover and learn about the diversity of the world that inspired the creation of the museum. Their joint expeditions resulted in a huge collection of exhibits that fill its interior today. Among them, you will see objects related to the everyday and ritual life of people from various cultural circles - clothes, headgear, decorations, ritual objects, musical instruments, weapons and pre-Columbian pottery. You will be delighted by multi-colored fabrics from Guatemala and Mexico, ritual masks of the Chokwe tribe from Gabon and jewelry made of semi-precious stones from Ladakh , India. But this is only a taste of the adventure that awaits you at the Travelers' Museum. “Everyone was born under a star, good or bad: the star of destiny… I was born, at least I think so, under the star of adventure.” – this is what Tony Halik said about his extraordinary life.
