When setting off on a trip from Toruń to Włocławek, after visiting Kaszczorek and Złotoria, it is also worth going to Nieszawa to see, among other things, the Church of St. Hedwig of Silesia, dating back to the time of Copernicus and built at the end of the 15th century. The church is a late Gothic temple with furnishings dating mainly from the 17th and 18th centuries. Nieszawa was founded in its present location in 1460. Previously, it was located opposite Toruń and was destroyed twice. Nieszawa can be reached by ferry across the Vistula River, following the Copernicus Trail.
